The Paradise Economic Development Initiative (“EDI”) is a faith-centered economic empowerment ministry designed to help church members and community residents gain the knowledge, access, relationships, and practical tools necessary to improve their financial stability, increase economic opportunity, protect family assets, and build long-term legacy.
Economic justice is the belief that individuals and families should have a fair and meaningful opportunity to earn, build, protect, and transfer wealth.
Our purpose
EDI is not merely a response to immediate financial hardship. It is a pathway that equips people to move from financial uncertainty to stability, from aspiration to action, from survival to ownership, and from income to legacy.
Year 1 goals

How EDI works
EDI is designed as a living, active ministry ecosystem — combining structured cohort learning with community events, professional partnerships, and ongoing accountability. Cohorts of 15–25 participants commit to a full series, complete practical assignments, and receive follow-up resources.
Alongside the academies, EDI hosts public seminars, hands-on workshops, small-group coaching, professional referrals, community events, and celebrations that keep the work grounded in relationships.

The Paradise Economic Development Initiative has the potential to become more than a series of classes. It can become a pathway through which church members and community residents discover opportunity, develop capacity, protect what they build, and create a legacy for future generations.
